My name is Krysty and it is my pleasure to share with you the incredible healing energy that is Reiki. I am a master of Usui and Karuna Reiki methods, and and am a teacher and practitioner of this type of healing as well as a student of shamanism.

The word 'reiki' is originally Japanese, a combination of two words, 'rei' and 'ki'. The first word, 'rei', can mean 'universal love' or 'light source' or 'life energy'. It can also mean 'God consciousness'. The word 'ki' is the equivalent of more familiar words like the Chinese chi or Hawaiian ti or ki. 'Ki' stands for 'life energy'.

Reiki is a therapeutic technique used for natural healing, for safe stress reduction and as a self-improvement strategy. Through the use of reiki, a practitioner is able to help a client to find a new path, to discover new strengths and hidden abilities, and to heal themselves either without medication or as a compliment to an existing healing regimen.

Being treated with Reiki by a professional practitioner feels like having pure radiant energy brought down from God or a Higher Power and channeled right into one's body. Every cell comes to life, every vital organ begins to work as it should, and limbs that ache are soothed, thoughts that trouble tend to dissipate.

Those who find the gift of Reiki and become attuned to its symbols and ideologies find their lives enriched in all ways possible. Opportunities open, doors no longer close shut on possibilities, and dreams become realities. A sense of purity of purpose enters their lives, and a new and positive focus takes over, helping practitioners to light their own path as well as the paths of others!

Reiki sessions generally cost the same as a massage therapy session and are priced according to local physiotherapy and massage clinics. However, no client would be turned away from Krysty's practice, nor would she refuse a student. When there is a will, there is a way, and Reiki has a way of making itself known, showing where it is needed, and coming to those who are ready to receive what they have long deserved or just recently discovered.

A Reiki session can be done at a client's home, an especially ideal scenario for someone who is bedridden, uncomfortable in public, or simply needing their own personal space for what can often be a very private experience. Reiki clients may also ask to come to my home for a session. The town of Stettler is generally quiet and peaceful, lit with sun and a good central location for many outlying villages. Reiki classes can be held in my home or other convenient outlets as deemed necessary and requested, according to class size and interest.
